I taught my self piano, you really don’t need sites in order to do so just lots of practice. The first thing you should learn is scales. If you know scales you can play anything you want. Make sure your scales are precise, and fast. Don’t start them fast, you have to start REALLY slow in order to get faster. After scales look into some easy music. Or get a piano book for beginners. Just practice it and you’ll be fine. But I used websites all the time but they never really helped me… they just showed me what I already knew. Just get a piano book series.. It will really help you if you are diligent. I recommend Suzuki. YuNa

Is this what is being taught in our schools nowadays? No wonder so many are turning out to be so “un” or “ill” educated.

get a teacher for awhile. You only teach yourself when you know how……….
So figure out what the teacher does first then make your own lesson plans from there. You should only do this though when you know your scales, know some theory, know some songs, have decent sight reading and have decent technique
