Why do so many good musicians who advertise themselves on youtube and myspace remain unknown. Almost all of us tend to recognize only the handful who are at the top. What makes the difference as the “nobodies” are sometimes even better than the famous ones.
Hi, I learn from a professional guitar teacher. I am half way through Berklee book – A modern Method for Guitar. Wondering If I really put alot of practise in this year, 4 hours a day, how good would I get? Appreciate any thoughts from musicians.
Obviously, this is quite a general question, but my perception is that musicians would be more “serious” and not very prone to having a laugh over something silly.
My friend said she thinks that because music is an expression of self and of self-emotion, musicians are probably very attuned to their inner self and would be good emotional partners (in a relationship) because they are probably very sensitive to even the slightest changes in someone’s emotion (read: they can read others well).
Can anyone name a few classical musicians that is great listening to while pregnant?
Where actually musicians use MIDI? For example how a band records his music?Using MIDI or?
I am looking for anything that has to do with music that i can decorate my kitchen with and i perfer jazz musicians
I’m getting my lyrics turned into music. The cost for sequenced music is $350, sequenced music and live guitar is $400, and live musicians is $850.
I just want to know what the difference is between sequenced music and live musicians. Is one better than the other?
Me and my friend have a comedy music group, EWAG if you wanna check it out on iTunes, but we’ve recently decided to branch out and write serious songs. Our songs are all hip-hop/ rap, but we’re too white to actually get anywhere with a serious rap song, so I am just wondering if there was any semi-easy way to try and sell it to other musicians who could have more use for it.
Why do musicians decide to drop the music they love all of a sudden? I feel like a true musician would never want to give up all the hard work they’ve done over the last x amount of years they’ve been togethor. The reason i ask this is because some of the bands i enjoy have broken up recently and i just want to know why a band would just drop all their hard work and passion just like that.
I love his album. What are other singers and musicians that could kinda be catagorized in the same as him ?
